1 – Background, Foundation, Mistakes
This formula – this one sentence statement – will help you define who you are, who you serve and what problem you solve.
The clarity from answering these 3 questions will help you get the clarity you need to show up Confident and Rock Solid!
In the previous video (Get Clarity for Network Marketing Success), these 3 questions were addressed. Go back and view that video. Because creating a 1 Sentence Statement builds upon the 3 questions that bring clarity and confidence!
The1 Sentence Statement is Your Elevator Pitch and is so important because you have to deal with Short Attention Spans, Getting Attention Quickly and Information Overload.
Your 1 Sentence (Elevator Pitch) is going to be all about how you help the customer. It’s not going to be about you. It’s going to be about how you impact the customer. Mistakes I see with your 1 Sentence Statement is when the focus is NOT about the ideal customer and the benefits/outcome.
The 1 Sentence Statement is
- Not About Your Pedigree or Background
- Not About the Features, Ingredients, etc
- Stay Away from Overused Words
- Not Words that Are Uncomfortable
It’s About How the Client/Customer is Going to Benefit, the Outcome. Don’t get caught up in your features and what YOU think is important. You must think about your offer from your client/customer point of view.
A Good 1 Sentence Statement Will:
- Create Curiosity
- Help People Identify With You
- Helps People Stay Interested
Where can you use this 1 Sentence (Elevator Pitch) Statement?
- Social Media Profiles
- Email Signature
- Business Cards
- Introductions in Person
- About Me info
- Introductions on Videos, Podcasts
