One Word Goal for 2015

One WordLast year I set 6 goals to accomplish. I failed miserably at most of them. Yet, I will NOT beat myself up over the fact I did not reach my goals. I made progress toward my goals, but I did not have the follow through or the action plan I needed! Instead of giving up, I’m going to create goals for 2015 and find a different way to accomplish them!

This year I selected a One Word Goal. Experts say that narrowing down goals to one word rather than the same old resolutions may point us in the right direction to reaching goals! A one word goal helps with attention problems and can keep us laser focused!

Rachel Olsen, co-author of My One Word, believes the concept has been well received because resolutions are usually behavior based: “You’re going to go to the gym, stop yelling at your kids, sell X amount of units,” she says. “As soon as you fail, you’ve broken the resolution. A word can’t be broken. It serves as a reminder; a filter. It’s who you want to be instead of what you regret.”

I have dreamed. I have planned. This year it is time to create massive action! Action in every aspect of my life – family, personal, faith and work.

Join me in setting a one word goal for 2015! I want to see you reach your goals!

Best,

Kathleen
