Now is the best time to RETHINK and PIVOT your life.
The health threat associated with the Coronovirus has caused us to slow down, think about our every day lives and even be more mindful of our activities. We have eliminated our social interactions.
Take advantage of this slow time and do some soul searching. Here are some items and questions that you can ask yourself while you are in a self reflection mode:
- Have examined your life recently?
- Do you like what you see?
- Is this what you had imagined for your life?
- How do you feel about your life?
- Are you spending time with the people you love?
- Is your work profitable and meaningful?
This exercise is so meaningful. And if you are honest with yourself, you can make a change to have the LIFE YOU WANT.
My Life Change
In 2012, I knew that I needed to make a change in my life.
In my late 40’s, I realized that I had gone as high as I was ever going to get in my corporate America job.
That was the hardest realization ever. My big dream job was never going to happen.
I was sad, but decided not to ignore those feelings. So, I decided to lean in and accept the reality of my career. What I discovered was pretty crazy. Not getting my dream job was actually the best thing that ever happened to me. I took time to evaluate where I was and what I wanted.
I began to realize several things about my family, career and finances:
- I enjoyed my work but was tired of a windowless office.
- I needed a change so that I could enjoy my family, be present for them
- I needed more money for retirement
- I needed more time for stuff that wasn’t just about work
I knew that I needed options. And 10 years ago, options were not as plentiful as they are in 2020.

Now is the perfect time to reevaluate where you are and the take a look at the multitude of options that are available for you.
